Overview

Wavepoint3pl is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time janitor to support the cleanliness and safety of their facility in North Tonawanda, New York. The role is essential for maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
  • Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs to management
  • Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning protocols
  • Perform other related janitorial duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Proficient in basic math
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
