Overview

As an IT Support Associate II at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the operations team within an Amazon Operations facility. Your responsibilities will include resolving technical issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and engaging in continuous learning to enhance your skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
  • Handle support requests and procedures across the network
  • Assist in training new hires
  • Engage in continuous learning of new technologies
  • Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations
  • Lift up to 49lbs and stand/walk for 10-12 hours during shifts

Required skills

  • Experience with computer systems and troubleshooting
  • 1+ years of experience in Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS certifications or equival
  • Strong customer service skills in a dynamic environment
