Job Description: Sterling Search Partners is helping a rapidly growing client with its search for a Interior Designer Relationship Manager. The Interior Design Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by developing relationships with interior designers, decorators, and design firms. This role identifies new business opportunities, manages key accounts, supports brand development, and serves as a liaison between customers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies with the VP of Interior Design Relations. Identify, target, and acquire new interior design accounts locally and nationally. Build and maintain strong relationships with designers and design firms. Manage key accounts and serve as the primary client contact. Conduct regular client visits, training, product education, and relationship-building activities. Support brand development, marketing initiatives, trade shows, and industry events. Gather customer and market feedback to support product development and business strategy. Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities. Negotiate contracts and agreements as needed. Manage related budgets and ensure business development efforts generate strong ROI. Provide management with updates on sales activity, customer relationships, market trends, and performance. Travel up to 75% of the time.Qualifications High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Business, Interior Design, Marketing, or related field preferred. Several years of sales/business development experience, preferably in interior design, furniture, or a related industry. Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals. Experience working with interior designers, architects, or design firms. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and related technology. Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
