AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interim Manager of Surgical Services to lead surgical operations at a 175-bed facility in Suffolk, Virginia. This role involves managing approximately 26+ FTEs and overseeing eight operating rooms while focusing on optimizing processes and improving operational efficiency in surgical services.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize surgical services across the facility
  • Manage approximately 26+ FTEs and eight operating rooms
  • Evaluate the surgical services life cycle
  • Streamline processes and improve OR utilization
  • Address flow and scheduling challenges

Required skills

  • BSN required; MSN preferred
  • Active VA or compact RN license
  • Active BLS certification
  • Extensive knowledge of surgical services
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs
