Overview

FF&C Mgt is seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter specializing in Environmental and Pollution lines to oversee the development and expansion of insurance products addressing various environmental risks. The role involves working remotely to create specialized offerings, manage client relationships, and ensure risk assessment and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and underwrite specialty insurance products related to environmental risks
  • Build and maintain relationships with agents and brokers
  • Attract and retain profitable business through effective marketing
  • Analyze coverage and limit requests to determine appropriate terms
  • Price business and assess risk quality
  • Administer rating and underwriting processes including loss history reports and credit checks
  • Implement loss prevention actions

Required skills

  • Experience in Insurance Underwriting
  • Knowledge of Environmental Pollution Liabilities
  • Familiarity with Specialty Programs and Excess Surplus Commercial Lines
