Job Description

Overview

The Instructor/Coordinator for Mechatronics at Moberly Area Community College will be responsible for teaching various courses in electrical and mechanical systems, while also coordinating industry partnerships and equipment maintenance. This full-time role requires both teaching and administrative duties to support students and the program's development.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach 12 credit hours in both fall and spring semesters
  • Develop and maintain industry partnerships
  • Coordinate and conduct tours of lab spaces for prospective students or community groups
  • Assist with applications for grants
  • Recruit new and support current students
  • Maintain industry contacts and conduct Advisory Committee meetings
  • Develop course curriculum and materials
  • Participate in professional growth activities and stay current in industry standards
  • Attend faculty meetings and assist new or adjunct faculty

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Master's degree and teaching experience preferred
