Overview

The Installer at TTP Comfort Group LLC plays a critical role in assisting the installation of HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial settings. This position requires working under the supervision of experienced installers and focuses on delivering excellent customer service while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Install ducts and duct fittings as per company requirements.
  • Deliver and remove equipment necessary for installations.
  • Maintain company property, vehicles, and tools responsibly.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Report unsafe acts and conditions to supervisors immediately.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Engage in safety initiatives and participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ensure the installation vehicle is kept clean and presentable.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED with additional training in HVAC.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, with technical training certification preferred.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • EPA and safety certifications.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and functionality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Time-management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in various environmental conditions.
