Job Description

Overview

Lane Enterprises is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be the primary contact for project quotations, working closely with sales representatives and external customers. This role involves preparing quotations, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting in various administrative tasks within a supportive and thriving organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for project quotations and customer relationships
  • Prepare new project quotations and revisions in collaboration with sales reps
  • Assist in the pricing approval process and enter new planning projects
  • Develop quotes, review orders for clarity and accuracy, and prepare submittals
  • Communicate with other departments as needed and provide necessary reports
  • Develop customer base through cold calling, local sales calls, and lead follow-ups
  • Maintain knowledge of Lane's products, specifications, and pricing guidelines
  • Handle maintenance bids and coordinate inter-company orders

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years' administrative experience in a sales support role
  • Experience with Drainage Systems
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
