Overview

Our client is seeking an Industrial Designer to join their team. This position focuses on translating customer requirements into innovative, technically sound design concepts for large-scale processing systems. The successful candidate will leverage advanced 3D parametric modeling, simulation, animation, and rendering capabilities to create persuasive visual and technical proposals that support sales efforts, demonstrate system functionality, and highlight value to prospective clients in industrial markets. Job Title: Industrial Designer Location: Plano, TX What's the Job? Collaborate with the Sales Applications Engineering team to develop conceptual designs and full-line solution proposals for large processing systems based on customer specifications and project requirements. Create detailed 3D parametric models using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor to represent complete processing lines, including equipment integration, layout optimization, and system-level configurations. Perform simulations (structural, kinematic, thermal, or fluid flow) to validate design feasibility, performance estimates, and risk mitigation within sales proposals. Develop dynamic animations and motion studies that clearly illustrate system operation, material flow, assembly sequences, maintenance access, and overall workflow for client presentations. • Produce high-quality, photorealistic renderings and visualization packages to communicate design intent, aesthetic appeal, ergonomic considerations, and environmental integration in sales materials and proposals. Support pre-sales activities by preparing technical illustrations, 3D walkthroughs, and interactive visuals that strengthen sales proposals and facilitate client discussions. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a closely related field.
