Overview

Vensure Employer Services is seeking a skilled Immigration Attorney for its Hagerstown, MD office. This position is aimed at individuals with experience in preparing and litigating immigration-related motions and appeals, particularly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and file Motions to Reopen
  • Prepare and file family/employment-based petitions/applications
  • Handle deportation/removal defense cases
  • Manage BIA appeals and motions to reopen/reconsider
  • Assist with asylum and waiver applications
  • Process immigrant/non-immigrant visa applications
  • Facilitate adjustment of status and naturalization/citizenship
  • Make appearances before immigration courts, USCIS, ICE, and CBP

Required skills

  • 3+ years of immigration law experience
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law (Bar)
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in immigration law software and case management systems
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus
