Overview

The Imaging - Multiple Modalities Technologist at SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex Mustang performs various imaging exams essential for diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries. This PRN position requires proficiency in multiple modalities and a commitment to patient care and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of imaging exams used in diagnosis and treatment
  • Position patients and accurately select anatomic and technical parameters
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe department environment
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Assist the physician in special and advanced procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • ARRT certification in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine
  • Frequent physical activities including lifting and moving patients
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with safety standards
