Job Description

Overview

SSM Health is seeking an Imaging - Multiple Modalities Technologist to perform various imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries. This role involves ensuring safety and compliance while providing high-quality imaging services during a 12-week contract period.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of imaging exams
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
  • ARRT-R Radiography or equivalent ARRT certifications
  • Experience in imaging exams (no experience required)
  • Strong physical capabilities including frequent standing, walking, and lifting
