Job Description

Overview

SSM Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist in El Reno, Oklahoma. The role involves performing a variety of imaging exams for the diagnostic treatment of illnesses and injuries, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform imaging exams in accordance with established protocols
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards
  • Prepare and assist in advanced procedures and administer contrast media
  • Ensure high-quality submission of images and documents to PACS
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Completion of Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
  • ARRT-R Radiography, ARRT-T Radiation Therapy, or ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine certification
  • ARRT-CT Computed Tomography certification
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients or objects
