Overview

As an ICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Methodist Hospital Texsan, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in patient care through leadership and collaboration. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting the nursing staff in a dynamic and recognized ICU environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Lead and inspire commitment to the organization's vision and values
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor according to patient care needs
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in community and patient events to represent the organization positively
  • Support inventory control and management of supplies and equipment
  • Adhere to safety policies and report unsafe conditions
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact RN license
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
  • 3 years of ICU RN experience preferred
  • Clinical assessment skills
  • Emergency response knowledge
  • Patient advocacy and care coordination
