TRI-COUNTY ENERGY CORP is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician, specifically experienced in oil and gas burner maintenance, to join their team in Sparrow Bush, New York. The technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems, while ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding high standards of work efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency
  • Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
  • Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks
  • Test electrical circuits or components for continuity
  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Required skills

  • Past experience as an HVAC service technician
  • EPA certification
  • Experience with oil burners and gas burners
  • Central A/C experience including troubleshooting, service, and installation
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 40 pounds
