Overview

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for traveling to residential and commercial locations to inspect, diagnose, repair, and install HVAC systems. This role requires effective customer consultations and adherence to safety procedures while ensuring operational effectiveness of heating and cooling systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Travel to residential and commercial businesses daily as scheduled
  • Inspect HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
  • Diagnose and repair problems
  • Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
  • Conduct consultations with customers
  • Comply with appliance standards
  • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioners
  • Diagnose defects in components and wires
  • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
  • Follow all safety procedures

Required skills

  • 3 years' experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • EPA Certification
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills
  • On-call availability with rotating calls including weekends
