Overview

Primary Duties:HR Specialist/Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in managing various HR functions on a professional level. This position supports key areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and termination processes.Work Location: This position will be primarily based at HD Construction Equipment Develon North America office in Suwanee, GA. The role will also require regular on-site work at the HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America office in Norcross, GA, based on business and recruiting needs.Responsibilities: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including obtaining necessary budget approvals and initiating activities to foster a positive work environment. Conduct background checks and coordinate drug screenings. Use E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility. Oversee the new hire orientation process and manage employee recognition programs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital employee files, including documentation, benefits information, and attendance records. Coordinate recruitment efforts by creating and managing a recruitment plan aligned with operational and sales projections. Collaborate with Hiring Managers to discuss recruiting needs and ensure all hiring needs are met in a timely manner. Develop comprehensive onboarding plans, ensuring new hires are educated on HR policies, internal procedures, and company regulations. Ensure the completion of all required onboarding documents, including I-9, W-4, G-4, and the onboarding package. Track and monitor employee training compliance, ensuring that employees complete mandatory training programs and certifications on time. Partner with external vendors and internal teams to ensure the warehouse is consistently staffed to meet operational needs. Process HR-related invoices in SAP. Maintain and initiate job description update process as needed. Manage regular HR announcements as they relate to recruiting initiatives and employee recognition. Initiate new employee 90-day performance evaluations and track hybrid and flex schedule agreements.Other duties: Other duties and functions are appropriate to the position assigned by the manager from time to time.Work environment and other requirements:The work environment is a non-smoking office environment. No heavy lifting is required. Mostly sitting with computer and phone usage. Accommodation can be made for handicapped employees.
