Overview

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples will reside in on-campus homes to provide care, guidance, and support for a group of 8-13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to promote students' growth and success.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
  • Manage household routines and student schedules
  • Administer medications and ensure student wellness
  • Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities
  • Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
  • Oversee budgeting and household reporting

Required skills

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Teamwork and household management skills
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student home vans
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Integrity and professionalism
