Overview

ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Locum Neuro Hospitalist to provide inpatient neurology and telestroke coverage across multiple hospitals in northern Colorado. This role involves adult inpatient care within a primary stroke center environment, with no teaching or supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient neurology coverage and telestroke services
  • Manage approximately 15 patients per day
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 5 physicians
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
  • Provide care within a primary stroke center supported by a dedicated stroke team
  • No supervising or teaching responsibilities required

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Neurology
  • Active Colorado medical license
  • Active IMLC with Letter of Qualification preferred
  • Stroke telemedicine (telestroke) experience
  • Clean malpractice history and background
  • BLS certification prior to start
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
