Generations Home Loans is looking for mortgage operations professionals to transition into a consultative, client-facing Home Loan Consultant role. This position emphasizes relationship development and effective communication while guiding borrowers through the loan process, leveraging a background in mortgage operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide borrowers through the loan process using mortgage operations experience
  • Develop referral relationships with real estate professionals and past clients
  • Consult with buyers on loan options and transaction expectations
  • Communicate proactively with agents, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and closing teams
  • Build a purchase-focused home lending business through client service and referral development

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Strong communication skills and client relationship management
