Overview

As a Home Health Physical Therapist with HCA Florida Healthcare at Home, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover strength and mobility following illness, injury, or surgery. You will create personalized therapy plans and collaborate closely with physicians and the care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain
  • Monitor progress and ensure accurate documentation of outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices
  • Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive patient-centered care
  • Mentor therapy assistants or students

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
  • National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist
  • State license to practice physical therapy
  • Ability to work varying hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license and insured automobile
