Overview

Concord Physicians Solutions is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to work in Long Branch, New Jersey. The role involves managing outpatient oncology treatments, with a focus on brachytherapy and other radiation procedures, and requires availability for at least two weeks a month or three days a week.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage outpatient oncology treatments including new consultations and follow-up visits
  • Perform brachytherapy and other radiation procedures
  • Oversee treatment utilizing SBRT, IMRT, IGRT, and 3D treatments
  • Work collaboratively with a full radiation team including RTs, physicists, and dosimetrists
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 40 active treatment patients with 8-10 new consults and 30 follow-ups per week

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Experience with EMR Systems such as Aria/Eclipse and Epic
  • Familiarity with brachytherapy procedures and equipment like Accuray Tomotherapy and Elekta Versa HD
