Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This role includes overseeing patient care in a comprehensive healthcare facility with a focus on cancer care, supported by a robust staffing model.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in hematology and oncology
  • Complete daily hospital rounds and consults
  • Oversee advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Handle after-hours call for critical values and urgent patient matters
  • Manage 12-15 patient encounters per shift
  • Work with a support staff including infusion nurses and patient navigators

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification
  • Experience in cancer care
  • Patient care and medical consultation skills
