Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage due to the loss of a provider. The role primarily supports a free-standing cancer center with a mix of benign hematology and malignant oncology cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient oncology coverage
  • Participate in Tumor Board
  • Manage Bone Marrow Transplants
  • Coordinate blood bank activities
  • Order diagnostic tests and imaging
  • Prescribe medications
  • Administer chemotherapy (performed by Nurse Oncologist)

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
  • Active South Carolina Medical License
  • BLS Certification
  • DEA Registration
  • Clean Background
  • Self-Query NPDB Report
  • Availability for 4 weeks/month, 4 days/week
  • Minimum 6-month commitment
