Overview

Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Danbury, Connecticut. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with primarily outpatient coverage, no evenings, weekends, or call, and is part of a multidisciplinary cancer care practice. Ideal candidates will have prior Hematology/Oncology experience and relevant certifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient care for Hematology/Oncology patients
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians and advanced practitioners
  • Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care, including diagnostic imaging and cancer research
  • Manage patient care in a busy clinical setting
  • Support patient needs through psychological and social services

Required skills

  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Previous experience in Hematology/Oncology
  • State of Connecticut license
  • Federal DEA and CT Controlled Substance Registration
