Tasks include loading and hauling material around the job site in a safe manner, digging ponds and trenches, rough and finish grade work, root raking, using grade stakes or GPS to lay in roadways, slopes and more. To be successful in this position, you must have a valid driver's license, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks throughout the day.Construction Equipment Driver Responsibilities: Operate Heavy Equipment such as: Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoe, Track Hoe Drive equipment to load/haul material around the jobsite in a safe manner. Follow Grade Stakes or use GPS to perform rough or finish grading tasks for ponds, slopes and roadways. Dig trenches to install trench boxes and install underground pipe work. Clearing trees and debris, use of root rake as needed. Operate heavy equipment such as Roller, Sweeper, Water Truck, Skid Steer on an as-needed basis. Perform daily inspections / maintenance of assigned truck. Perform manual labor as necessary on the job site. Follow all health and safety guidelines.The Briar Team is EEOC and Drug Free Workplace compliant. Authorization to work in the United States and a drug test will be required upon hiring.Schedule: Monday - Friday. Saturdays on an as-needed basis. 6:45am-4:45pm Full Time Overtime No overnights or over the road travel. No per diem pay.
