Job Description

Overview

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is looking for a passionate and motivated Head Coach for the Boys JV Soccer program. The Head Coach will oversee the development of athletes, manage training plans, and promote a positive sports environment while working closely with the Activities Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the JV soccer teams
  • Develop and implement effective coaching strategies
  • Design and implement strength training programs
  • Mentor and motivate high school aged student athletes
  • Collaborate with athletes, parents, and coaching staff
  • Support the Varsity Head Coach as needed

Required skills

  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring athletes
  • Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Willingness to complete student safety training
  • Pre-employment criminal background check
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel for meets
