Overview

Steel Point Opportunities is looking for a Growth Account Executive for an AI software development firm. This role involves owning the full sales cycle for high-intent inbound leads while driving expansion in SMB, mid-market, and junior enterprise accounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct discovery calls
  • Run product demos and close new business within a 30 to 90 day sales cycle
  • Grow a book of business, driving expansions and renewals
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, support, and technical marketing teams
  • Monitor and manage sales pipeline daily
  • Identify and improve sales processes by developing repeatable tools and scripts
  • Communicate product value and navigate technical objections

Required skills

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in mid-market SaaS sales
  • At least 2 years of closing experience
  • Experience in high-volume sales environments
  • Knowledge of technical products like developer tools, cloud infrastructure, and ML/AI platforms
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Familiarity with Python or Docker is a plus
  • Engineering background or technical curiosity
