Job Description

Overview

The General Service Technician at Heartland Tire Inc is responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire evaluations. This role involves providing excellent customer service and making recommendations for needed parts and services to the Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide helpful, friendly, and respectful customer service
  • Change oil and/or transmission fluid and filters
  • Evaluate tire pressure and ensure proper inflation
  • Recommend tires, parts, and services to Service Manager
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Cross train in other areas as needed

Required skills

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ASE Certifications and/or a technical school degree (preferred)
  • Customer service
