Job Description: Schedule In-person only. Monday and Wednesdays, 9am-2pm plus additional professional development sessions as scheduled. Starts at $35/hour. Responsibilities Provide instruction to adult women preparing for the Math and Science GED exams, including algebra, geometry, and functions. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) and GED testing requirements. Assess student abilities and progress regularly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student enrollment, attendance, assessments (including pre- and post-testing), and outcomes to fulfill grant and program requirements. Provide educational counseling, guidance, and support to help adult learners reach their academic and personal goals. Participate in professional development and training activities as required. Maintain appropriate and valid teaching certification. Promote a supportive and respectful classroom environment.Qualifications Bachelors degree, preferably in related area plus a adult ed cross endorsement or eligibility to obtain. Adult teaching experience a plus. Knowledge of and experience with the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) a plus. Able to effectively work with a diverse group of students. Excellent communication and time management skills.
