Overview

Tomorrow RNG is seeking a Gas Well Field Maintenance Technician to join their team in Melissa, Texas. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment associated with gas wells in an outdoor landfill environment. Candidates should be prepared for outdoor work in various weather conditions and have a strong commitment to safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair valves, well heads, gas lines, and well extensions
  • Perform on-call response to field operations and emergency situations
  • Adhere to established safety guidelines and protocols
  • Conduct daily well/pump rounds and maintain accurate maintenance logs
  • Assist with inventory management and the use of materials and tools
  • Install and extend gas wells, ensuring compliance with technical specifications
  • Participate in ongoing training and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in shop and storage areas

Required skills

  • Experience with valve maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of field operations and safety protocols
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and computers
  • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment
  • Experience with HDPE pipe fusion (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
