Overview

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a night position in Poughkeepsie, New York. This role focuses on hospital-based patient management in the critical care and CTICU environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage inpatient care in Critical Care/CTICU
  • Patient management in CT Step Down Unit
  • Conduct bedside procedures
  • Provide consultations and preoperative evaluations
  • Complete discharge processes and progress notes
  • Participate in 24/7 in-house call

Required skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting
  • 1-2 years of current surgical experience
  • Proficient in patient management and critical care
