Overview

The Food & Nutrition Services Manager at Cox Monett Hospital is responsible for leading and managing the food production, retail, and clinical operations of the Food and Nutrition Services Department. This role includes overseeing quality improvement initiatives and providing educational programs for various audiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage retail and clinical operations of Food and Nutrition Services.
  • Plan, direct, implement, and supervise food production and services.
  • Evaluate the quality and service levels in food and nutrition.
  • Develop educational programs for clients, students, employees, and the community.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to support departmental and organizational goals.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Completion of an ACEND approved dietetic internship or coordinated undergraduate program
  • Registered Dietitian with State Licensure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to follow direction and work well as a team player
  • Critical thinking and multitasking skills
  • Preferred: Previous supervisory and management experience
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Preferred: Certified Diabetes Educator certification
