Job Description Job Description Luxor Staffing is hiring a Fitter Helper paying $18 per hour with 1st and 2nd shift available. Shift:1st: Mon-Fri 6AM-2:30PM2nd: Mon-Fri 2PM_10:30PMJob Responsibilities:Assist fitters and welders with preparing, positioning, and assembling metal components.Measure, mark, and align materials according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.Prepare metal surfaces and materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and removing debris.Assist with setting up welding equipment and handling materials using the appropriate tools.Inspect materials and assembled components for proper alignment and quality while maintaining a clean and safe work area.Qualifications:Must have 6 months to 1 year of recent welding experience.Must have experience working with 0.045, 0.052, and 1/16-inch welding wire sizes.Must be able to use basic measuring tools and follow instructions, measurements, and blueprints.Must be able to assist with fitting and assembling metal components, handle materials, and follow workplace safety procedures.Grinder with some cutting torch experienceMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs Company Description Luxor Staffing offers a corporate staffing experience, yet we provide the hands-on service normally expected only from a small, locally-owned firm.
