Overview

Faith Technologies is seeking a Field Service Representative in Houston, Texas, to handle installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment in power distribution. The role involves providing technical support and training to customers, while maintaining ongoing relationships regarding equipment repair and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair customer equipment.
  • Provide documentation, including test reports and service summaries.
  • Instruct customers and personnel on operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Perform warranty work and start-up service.
  • Analyze complex problems in equipment and machinery.
  • Consult with product support and engineering to solve operational issues.
  • Assist in developing design modifications and installation support.
  • Develop and implement training courseware for customers and service representatives.
  • Maintain service equipment, tools, and documentation.

Required skills

  • Completion of electrical apprenticeship or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with electrical start-up and testing including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and ca
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Experience in technical support and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in using test instruments and reading blueprints
