Overview

The Field Service Representative - Power Distribution at Faith Technologies is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment. This role involves providing technical support, training customers, and maintaining relationships while ensuring high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment
  • Provides documentation including test reports and service summaries to customers
  • Instructs customers and personnel on the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Performs warranty work and start-up service
  • Constructs and tests circuits and equipment utilizing various tools
  • Analyzes complex problems in equipment and machinery
  • Consults with product support and engineering personnel for solutions
  • Develops and implements training courseware for customers and service representatives
  • Maintains ongoing customer relationships regarding equipment repair and maintenance

Required skills

  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Military experience as Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians or Electrician's Mate
  • Electrical start-up and testing experience with circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and capacitor ba
  • Effective communication skills in English
