Overview

Faith Technologies is seeking a Field Service Representative to join their team in Austin, Texas. The role involves the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment in the power distribution sector, while also providing training and technical support to customers. Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment
  • Provides documentation including test reports and service summaries to customers
  • Instructs customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Performs warranty work and start-up service
  • Constructs and tests circuits and equipment using various tools and machines
  • Provides technical support in product service and training
  • Analyzes complex problems in equipment and machinery
  • Consults with engineering personnel to determine solutions to complex problems
  • Maintains ongoing customer relationships regarding equipment repair and maintenance
  • Documents all required information for each service site

Required skills

  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Military experience in relevant positions (Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians and Electrician's Mate)
  • Electrical start-up and testing experience with circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and capacitor ba
  • Technical support and training skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Understanding of blueprints and service documents
