Overview

The Field Service Representative at Faith Technologies is responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment in the power distribution sector. This role emphasizes strong technical skills, customer support, and effective communication, while fostering ongoing relationships with clients and providing training on equipment operation and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and test electrical equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair customer equipment.
  • Provide documentation including test reports and service summaries.
  • Conduct training for customers and service representatives.
  • Analyze and solve complex equipment problems.
  • Maintain service equipment, tools, and documentation.
  • Coordinate and execute small projects at customer sites.

Required skills

  • Electrical engineering background or completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
  • Experience with circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, and PLCs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience interpreting blueprints and service documents.
