Overview

The Field QC Site Supervisor at Matrix Project Services, LLC is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising quality control functions and activities on-site. This role emphasizes safety, compliance with quality assurance standards, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and supervise company quality control functions
  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment for quality assurance personnel
  • Prepare, obtain approval for, and implement quality control program manuals
  • Conduct audits and perform inspections to assess compliance with quality standards
  • Provide technical direction and resolve quality-related issues
  • Liaise with owners, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors on quality matters
  • Implement corrective measures for noncompliance
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager

Required skills

  • Four-year engineering degree or minimum of 5 years quality control experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance and control activities
  • Ability to supervise personnel and excellent communication skills
  • AWS CWI certification required, API preferred
  • Knowledge of ASME SEC. V, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3, API650/653, NBIC and AWS
