Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant for a full-time position in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, specializing in Cardiology and Electrophysiology. The role comes with a competitive hourly rate and offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped hospital environment with a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

  • Support electrophysiology procedures, including Pacemaker, ICD, and Loop Recorder implants and explants
  • Assist with ablation procedures for AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER
  • Provide postoperative care and patient education
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Document patient visits and procedures using EPIC EMR system
  • Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols
  • Support interventional cardiology procedures like LHC and PCI as needed

Required skills

  • Active PA or NP license in Pennsylvania
  • DEA registration
  • ACLS/BLS certifications
  • Board certification (NP or PA)
  • Minimum of 1-year cardiology/electrophysiology experience
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system (preferred)
  • Strong skills in electrophysiology procedures and patient management
  • Ability to work flexibly within the schedule
