Overview

The Provider Finder is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Neurology team in Frederick, Maryland. The role involves providing comprehensive neurological care through outpatient visits, hospital consultations, and limited night call coverage, ideally for a bilingual Spanish-speaking candidate with interest or experience in neurology.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct neurological assessments and manage ongoing treatment plans under physician supervision.
  • Assist in diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological disorders.
  • Perform hospital consultations and follow-up evaluations as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active Maryland PA license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Neurology experience preferred; new graduates from top PA programs encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
