Job Description

Overview

As a Primary Care Physician at CommonSpirit Health, you will be part of a dedicated healthcare team in Prescott, Arizona, providing comprehensive care for patients across all ages. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating various disorders, managing diseases, and delivering compassionate care in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Diagnose and treat disorders and diseases
  • Perform patient exams and order diagnostic testing
  • Develop treatment and disease-management plans
  • Prescribe medication and coordinate referrals
  • Conduct early-detection screenings
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charts
  • Take call up to 4 times per month

Required skills

  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME approved residency program
  • Effective communication skills
  • Clinical skills in outpatient procedures
  • EMR proficiency (Cerner)
  • Valid state medical license or eligibility
  • Valid DEA certificate
