Overview

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join their team in Dubuque, Iowa. The physician will provide urgent care services for a diverse patient mix and will be expected to manage a high volume of cases in a busy schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions including sprains, fractures, respiratory infections, and abdominal pain
  • Manage caseload of 25-30 cases per 6-hour shift or 50-60 cases per 12-hour shift
  • Utilize EMR system (Cerner) for patient documentation
  • Work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
