Job Description

Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Family Practice Physician with OB capabilities to provide comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients in Los Angeles, California. This full-time position includes responsibilities for preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care services to patients of all ages
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
  • Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare teams
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
  • Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 20 patients

Required skills

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
  • Active and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Current DEA registration and BCLS certification
  • NPI number and eligibility for federal healthcare programs
  • Experience working with underserved populations preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (eClinicalWorks preferred)
