Overview

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to oversee the technical operations of a federal facility in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves managing daily operations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and safety standards, as well as coordinating efforts among technical staff, contractors, and government officials.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, building codes, and energy standards
  • Manage technical and administrative support staff
  • Coordinate with Government officials and building occupant staff for service requests and maintenance schedules
  • Assist in developing SOWs, cost estimates, facility technical proposals, and project schedules
  • Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and maintain accurate records for federal audits
  • Develop emergency response plans and conduct training drills
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during facility emergencies

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or engineering, with at least 3 years in a federal f
  • Knowledge of federal building regulations, GSA standards, and government contracting
  • Proficiency in building management systems (BMS), CMMS software, and energy management practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and other safety and environmental standards
  • Current Driver's License
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex tasks accurately
