Job Description

Overview

The Briar Team is seeking hard-working and reliable Experienced Pipe Laborers for various positions including Leadman, Tail man, and Hillman in Sanford, Florida. Successful candidates will install underground pipes for residential and commercial projects, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare construction sites, materials, and tools
  • Cut pipe to required lengths using power tools
  • Install and repair wet and dry utility pipe
  • Move pipe into trenches and lay pipe in trench
  • Connect pipe pieces and seal joints
  • Read and shoot grade
  • Dig holes, trenches, and shafts
  • Mix, pour, and level concrete
  • Follow health and safety regulations

Required skills

  • 2 years of experience for advanced positions
  • Reliable transportation to assigned jobsite
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Excellent stamina
  • Experience with Excavator or Loader preferred
