Overview

Harnden Construction Services is seeking an Experienced Operator for their Harrisburg, Pennsylvania location. The role involves operating various types of heavy construction equipment and supporting laborers and supervisors with attention to detail and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Control operation of heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and dump trucks
  • Perform daily checks and maintenance on equipment
  • Clean and securely park/stow equipment as scheduled
  • Notify shop foreman of maintenance or repair needs
  • Support other team members as required

Required skills

  • Heavy equipment operation experience, including dozers, excavators, and loaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements
  • Certification from an accredited college or six months related experience or training
