Sanctuary Grande is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the overall operation of Dining Services, ensuring high-quality nutritional services for residents. The role emphasizes planning, organization, and collaboration with community staff to maintain a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct Dining Services operations
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and create decorative displays
  • Assist in planning regular and special diet menus
  • Perform administrative tasks including forms and reports
  • Coordinate dining services with other departments
  • Develop and maintain rapport with community staff
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Delegate authority and responsibilities to department staff
  • Establish production lines for timely meal preparation

Required skills

  • Extensive experience in fine dining
  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in dining services
  • Training in cost control and food management
  • Knowledge of diet therapy for healthcare residents
