Sanctuary Grande is seeking an Executive Chef for their Dining Services in Carrollton, Ohio. This role focuses on planning, organizing, and directing the overall culinary operations while ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct overall Dining Services operations.
  • Ensure quality and nutritional standards are met.
  • Create decorative food displays and standardize work methods.
  • Assist in planning regular and special diet menus.
  • Complete administrative requirements and submit necessary reports.
  • Coordinate dining services with other departments.
  • Maintain rapport with community staff to meet residents' needs.
  • Delegate authority and accountability to department staff.
  • Establish dining service production lines for timely meal preparation.

Required skills

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in fine dining across various venues.
  • Training in cost control, food management, and diet therapy.
