Overview

Sanctuary Grande is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the Dining Services team. The role focuses on providing quality nutritional services while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food presentation, and ensuring dietary needs are met for residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct overall operation of Dining Services
  • Ensure quality and nutritious food services are provided
  • Determine food presentation and create decorative displays
  • Assist in planning regular and special diet menus
  • Complete necessary administrative forms, reports, and evaluations
  • Coordinate dining services with other departments
  • Develop good rapport with community staff
  • Establish production lines to prepare meals on time
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to department staff

Required skills

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory role
  • Training in cost control and food management
  • Experience in fine dining across various venues
  • Diet therapy training for healthcare residents
